Purpose: Considering the role and importance of establishing knowledge management in different organizations, the aim of the current research was presenting the effective factors model on the establishment of knowledge management in the rowing federation.
Methodology: This study in terms of purpose was applied and in terms of implementation method was quantitative. The research population was the employees of the Iran Rowing Federation in 2022 year, which number of 20 people of them were selected as a sample with using the purposive and snowball sampling methods and if they had the inclusion criteria. The samples responded to the researcher-made questionnaire of the effective factors on the establishment of knowledge management in the rowing federation (44 items), which its validity and reliability were evaluated as appropriate. Data were analyzed with exploratory factor analysis and structural equation modeling methods in SPSS and Smart PLS software.
Findings: The findings showed that the effective factors on the establishment of knowledge management in the rowing federation have 14 factors of employees' understanding and insight, employees' expertise, committed managers, employees' participation, human resource' motivation, expertise in knowledge management processes, strategic processes, internal rules and processes, functional processes, innovative processes, technological capabilities, technological infrastructures, technological communications and recognition of knowledge management technologies. Also, the factor loading of all factors was higher than 0.50, the convergent validity of the all factors with the average variance extracted method was higher than 0.40, and the reliability of all factors with the combined method was higher than 0.70. In addition, the effective factors model on the establishment of knowledge management in the rowing federation had a good fit and the effect rates of all paths were evaluated as appropriate.
Conclusion: According to the results of this study, can be taken an effective step to improve the establishment of knowledge management in the rowing federation through the identified factors
